Rue the Wolfdog (she/they)

Once a regular wolfdog known as Rubí the Vagabond, Rue was transformed into a beast during the events of Sonic Unleashed by Eggman. He ran experiments on multiple subjects to test the physical and mental effects of Dark Gaia's energy, inspired by the strange reaction it had on Sonic aboard his spaceship. The god's energy awakened their dormant Gaian ancestry, changing them permanently into their current form. Once Dark Gaia was sealed away once more and Eggman abandoned the research on its energy, Rue escaped and ran away to Spirit's Grove, where they live to this day. They have similar abilities to the Werehog, though are a bit slower due to their large size. They also transform further than Sonic, becoming a Nightmare when under extreme stress or on new moons when the night is at its darkest. They act standoffish and aggressive and are very protective of what they consider their territory and their friends. Currently, they seek revenge on Eggman for turning them into a "monster".

Specter the Cat (she/her)

A self proclaimed "reaper" of evil spirits, Specter is an outgoing young girl who loves thrills and adventures. She lives in Spirit's Grove along with her twin brother, Phantom, and her friend, Rue. She likes going on ghost hunts with her brother in order to cull troublemaking ghosts called Boos using her supernatural abilities. She's able to see ghosts as well as people's souls, and is able to summon a schythe from the Chaos Energy in her own soul. Her ability to read people is uncannily good as well due to her abilities. She's very sociable and confident, though sometimes a bit insecure about her appearance and voice, specifically. She's also a fan of all things horror and loves watching scary movies, playing horror games, and writing in her free time. She's also deathly afraid of insects.

Phantom the Cat (he/him)

Like his sister, Phantom is a self proclaimed "reaper". He's an awkward young boy who often speaks with a monotone. He lives with Specter and his friend, Rue, in Spirit's Grove. Despite having the same abilities as Specter, he doesn't enjoy ghost hunting quite as much as she does, seeing it more like something he HAS to do to put his powers to good use. In fact, he's quite scared of them, especially Boos, and his truest passions lie in entomology. Despite being able to see people's souls, he's not very good at understanding them, and prefers to keep to himself. He likes taking walks in the woods, bug catching, and playing videogames, particularly platformers and turn-based RPGs.

Isa (persona) (they/she/he)

Less an OC and more of a representation of myself. Literally me in all ways except physical appearance. Also how I view myself internally I think (identity is weird lol).
